A pigeon-hearted, pusillanimous, ignoble, craven coward. A mean-spirited wretch of a person. A dastard.

The picture looks like the person has seen a poltroon and needs a poltroon to jab them with.
I need a poltroon to kill spiders with.

Maybe the person is a poltroon who has just seen a poltroon and realizes he’s just like that person.
Have you checked Amazon for a spider-killing poltroon?

That would account for the scary look on his face!
No, I haven’t checked Amazon, but perhaps I should. Add it to the other 101 items in my cart that are hoping to be bought eventually. Instead they languish in the cart. LOL!

101 items? Yet you continue to deny you’re a high maintenance woman? Poor Brad.

Oh gosh! 😶🤚! That wasn’t an exact number and it’s not high maintenance if they never get bought, doolally! 😛

I can see you imploring Brad. Wearing him down, wearing him down. Until he finally puts up his hands and surrenders, and gives you the go-ahead to purchase everything in your Amazon cart. Poor Brad.

Didn’t somebody write a rather good poem about “Poor Brad”?

A very inspiring poem, at that. Men can learn big lessons from that poem, to not walk in Poor Brad’s footsteps.

The ol’ batting-the-eyelash trick. That’s a hard one for men to resist.

But IF that really worked I would have my beach house by now!

Perhaps you have to bat them a little more often.

Awwwww … don’t kill the spiders! Spiders have a right to live, too, and they are part of the ecosystem! Lure them onto a sheet of paper and then gently take them outside and release them! 😊

Poltroon…….. politics ……….. politician ………….. what’s the difference?

People see no difference, according to polls.

Ah, short for a feartie slubberdegullion… a term I’ve heard used in reference to some Canadian politicians.
Since I’m an American (where we just call them “politicians”), I was imagining a very long, pointy stick for popping marauding balloons from a safe distance.

I love both of those words. Those are two new words I can add to my vocabulary. Such a deal. I offer one word and get two words in return.
A very long, pointy stick for popping balloons sounds like a good idea in this day and age. Maybe you should invent one and offer it on Shark Tank.

Good idea… but better to go directly to the taxpayer-funded deep-pockets. I can design something to a US government “MilSpec” and charge a ludicrous amount for it, like those $2,000 hammers or $24,000 toilet seats. And even at, say $45,000 per copy, it would be a bargain compared to a $125-million jet-fighter firing a $2.5-million missile.

There’s big money in defense contracts, so I think you’re on to something. My only suggestion is that you hire a lobbyist. A good lobbyist could help you to jack up the price from $45,000 to $4.5 million.

Spent some time in Virginia in the early 90s, lobbying a federal department to fund some graduate work. Between that and traveling to Thailand around the turn of the millennium is sort of a dark rabbit hole. Written a little…
