Why suffer tomorrow’s disaster alone when you can sit next to an apple tree sapling and watch it suffer with you?

I agree. Besides, you can blame the disaster on the apple tree, for being a bad apple.

Is that the core of the problem?

Gnaw, not really.

Groaning? I used half of my French vocabulary on that pun. You should be impressed.

I’m not the one that said the world was ending tomorrow.

LOL! True and I guess in a roundabout way you added a little brightness by not having to suffer alone.

Welll ….if it did end tomorrow I wouldn’t have to worry about my child grasping the idea of finances! My tongue is sore from biting it …when showing me what she bought. But she did make a wise decision last week, one step at a time. 🙂

As a hint, buy her a book, and rip out every page except those in Chapter 11.

Annnd how exactly would that be a hint??

You’ve never heard of Chapter 11 bankruptcy?

Ummm….No!

Well then, here’s a Wikipedia article that might interest you or your daughter:

Well now I know. Hopefully she won’t ever get to that point! But yes, giving her a book and ripping out all the pages except Chapter 11 would cause her to think I lost my mind!
I did have to let out a little laugh for apparently she was late on her car insurance and she told me how she told the insurance she was having trouble because she was off work for awhile, (which she was) She said, “Mom, they didn”t even care, they just wanted their money!” I said, “Welcome to the real world, darling!”

…mmm…! I may have something in my hands to throw.
But no, it wasn’t a throw pillow smartie!. Throw pillows aren’t expensive. 😛

Well, every diet should include protein, right?

That’s right. Frutarians should always have a few worms in their diet.

iPads grow on trees! Have you seen the price of those things in the stores? I wish I had known this a few years ago.

Too bad you weren’t aware. You could have picked a very nice, shiny, new I-pad.

Of course it might have had a bug or two in it, but they can often be fixed!
LikeLiked by 1 person
I think they can be fixed. If you spray them with a certain chemical, it renders them incapable of reproducing.

Yes I have heard that it works on humans as well. It’s called beer, and in the UK it was well known in the 60s and 70s (perhaps still today?) for causing “Brewer’s Droop”!

I think that applies even today. Alcohol makes every woman seem beautiful and sexy, but renders a man’s equipment incapable of doing anything about it.

An excellent idea.
Side note: did you know you can’t just plant an apple seed and expect great fruit? I’m learning more and more farmer stuff every day out here on our larger-land property.
LikeLiked by 2 people
Wouldn’t the tree have to come first, and then the fruit? Perhaps you were expecting too much too soon.

I’m always counting my apples before they seed.
LikeLiked by 2 people
Yes you have to watch them carefully as you never know what they might get up to. The young ones are the worst as all they think about is seeding.

I didn’t know that. But I do know that farming and gardening is hard work. I prefer grocery shopping.

Most do. It’s so clean and shiny at the stores.

Yep. And there’s no animals to kill at the grocery store. They’re already dead, and they don’t even look like animals.
