We did have fun. Thank you.

It was the fact that it was sooo close up. LOL! Glad you had fun! Fun is known to have a great affect on mental health! 🙂

Just lost a second of my life with those pics. Thanks! Here’s hoping your unicorn hunting doesn’t have to do with you’re health and you’re doing okay.

I’m sorry. Here’s your second back ____________.
It had to do with our mental health. We needed to get out of the house for awhile, or we would go crazy. So we went to Nevada for some casino action, and other fun. It was great.

I lost a dollar. No, they don’t allow gambling in Hawaii.

Then how did you lose a dollar?

I was in Nevada, on a stupid blackjack machine.

You went all the way to LV and didn’t play real BJ?
LikeLiked by 1 person
No, didn’t get to LV. Went to the Amargosa Valley, near Death Valley. It’s one of those border casinos that attracts Californians who don’t want to traverse deep into the Silver State.

Ah. Didn’t know about border casinos.

Nevada has a bunch of them, along all their borders. They’ve got exploiting the gambling fever, down to a fine art.

And, plenty of people to visit them. I wonder how C-19 has affected them.

It wasn’t very crowded in the casino, so I think they’ve been hurting. But their restaurant was open. It was nice to be able to eat at a restaurant. And the food was very good.

I’d like some normal, too. Did you, perhaps, bottle any of that and bring it home?

No. It’s not normal to bottle up normal.

Haven’t I told you that tea is poison?
Unfortunately, I did not get lost, so here I am back home.

Not organic herbal tea. I don’t drink black, sweet tea. That shit is nasty.
Unfortunately? So, you wanted to get lost?

Any tea is poison, in my book.
Yes. Getting lost is fun. They say that adventure is the result of poor planning. Unfortunately, I planned too well.

I routinely put cinnamon stevia in my teas along with peppermint & vanilla (not all three at once, tho…)…and local honey. I do my level best to avoid refined sugar.
I stopped drinking all black tea years ago. I do drink an herbal blend that has some green tea in it. I try to avoid most caffeine.
I grew up on southern sweet tea. Which reminds me of a story… Many years ago, an ex of mine & I went to Richmond. I don’t even remember why. I do remember going to a restaurant for lunch. He & I were standing in line and a hostess of sorts was taking drink orders. Naturally, we NC southern folk ordered “sweet tea.” That girl (she had to be a college student) looked at me above her glasses and said “You’re not that far south.” I turned to my ex and, with crooked eyebrows, said “RICHMOND? The Capitol of the Confederacy is not SOUTH enough?” My ex said “What planet are we on?” The girl rolled her eyes and walked off. This was in the late 80s and she clearly didn’t grasp what she had just said.

Peppermint and vanilla are good. I have a Peppermint vanilla herbal tea actually. 🙂
LOL at that girl! Oh gosh! Yes, grew up on sweet tea and meadow tea! Meadow tea is the best!

Is Meadow tea a brand name?

Meadow tea is a Pennsylvania Dutch thing. 🙂
Its sooo good. My husband never was a fan of tea but he does like Meadow tea. Its made from mint tea leaves that my Mom always had growing in our yard.

Yes, no better tea, but I may be bias! 🙂
The smell of the leaves takes me back to my childhood!

I can so appreciate that. The smell of fried chicken, peach cobbler and blackberry cobbler remind me of my childhood years on my paternal GM’s farm.

That girl should tell that to General Lee’s descendants.

I’m not entirely sure she even knew who General Lee was. If you think Richmond isn’t south enough, college has clearly rotted your brain.
