  1. I love Virginia Woolf. Even her initials are cool, VW, like my ’66 Bus. I think her quote refers to women of that time period being “locked in” by familial and societal pressure to act in a certain way. One who is locked out can go anywhere but in. One who is locked in cannot go anywhere at all, which sounds far more confining to me. 🙂
